I AM EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE FIRST DRAWING LESSON FOR MARS ART CAMP!✨⭐😄
For this first lesson, I will be teaching you how to create a Doodlefish! 🎣🐟🐠🐡
This lesson is dedicated to camper Jon Moore who creates scientific illustrations of animals. Right now he is working on an illustration of a deep-sea fish! I'm not sure if the Doodlefish has been classified yet - but how can it not after we create a whole SCHOOL of Doodlefish?
✨Here's the extra special part: If you send me a well-lit picture of your doodlefish - I will see if I can create an entire school of doodlefish using your species (See video).
Then I will send it back to you so you can use it for a coloring book page! (This is an experiment! So if it works it may be limited to the first 5 who send me their doodlefish, depending on how it goes)
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰 👇𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 - 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜/𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 "𝐃𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡" - 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐞?!🤷♀️🤷♂️
Happy Creating, Mars
PS: I'm releasing this video on Tuesday night - because I have a suspicion it might make a nice a wind-down/relaxing video for the kids before bed, while giving them something to look forward to making tomorrow. Drawing with music begins at minute 4! (I used to nanny for a 3-year-old that loved watching "watercolor painting videos" on my phone to relax before nap time!)
PPS: I previously mentioned Wednesday drawing videos would take the form of a more serious course for teens/adults. I am still going to develop that curriculum, but I also couldn't help but make some fun drawing videos that worked for pre-k/elementary age as well.
