Mars Mission 3: Going on a Shape Hunt!
In this mission, we practice shape recognition, fine-motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. Shape recognition is one of the first math skills that preschoolers learn and it can be super exciting to start finding shapes in every-day life.
You will need:
Paper or surface to make marks on
Pencil, crayons, or colored pencil
Objects to trace

Instructions:
1. Watch the video above and pause to go find a circle and a square somewhere in your house (that you can trace)!
2. After you find these two basic shapes, look for a rectangle, triangle, and random and irregular shapes to trace too.
3. Create an image by tracing the objects and color it in!
